The Czech team Janík Motorsport will participate in this year’s F4 CEZ championship, fielding a single car. The successful team from TCR Eastern Europe is expanding its activities into the land of formula racing.
Team boss Václav Janík confirmed the order of a Tatuus F4-T421 single-seater but has yet to announce the driver.
„At this moment, I can say that we will compete in F4 and likely expand beyond a single car in the future. We are very fond of the F4 CEZ series and can imagine F4 becoming as much of a priority for us as TCR,“ says Václav Janík, whose team won the team rankings in TCR Eastern Europe for the last two seasons and also clinched the drivers‘ title last year thanks to Maťo Homola.
„We have many young people in our team, from mechanics to engineers. Working with young drivers in F4 is the next logical step. We want to work with a new generation of drivers,“ Janík adds.
In addition to F4 CEZ and TCR Eastern Europe, the Janík Motorsport team will also appear in the ESET Cup and, for the first time, the Clio Cup.
