Kirill Kutskov wins the final race at Automotodrom Brno

Starting from seventh place didn’t stop Kirill Kutskov from the Maffi Racing team from moving up through the field in the opening laps and winning the third and final F4 CEZ race of the weekend in Brno.

Oscar Wurz from Jenzer Motorsport started from pole position, alongside F4 CEZ debutant Joanne Ciconte from the AS Motorsport team. Behind them were Miroslav Mikeš from the JMT Racing team and the winner of the two previous races, Max Karhan from Jenzer Motorsport. Simon Schranz and Nathanael Berreby completed the third row.

Wurz kept the lead, and Mikeš moved up to second with Karhan in third, attempting to pass Mikeš on the outside, but instead came under pressure from Kutskov, who overtook him in the second turn.

In the second lap, Kutskov made the same move on Mikeš, again in the second turn, passing him for second place.

The order after three laps was Wurz, Kutskov, Mikeš, Karhan, Berreby, Ciconte, Schranz, and Mičík in eighth.

Kutskov began to chase Wurz hard, and by the fourth lap, he was only half a second behind the Austrian leader. He attempted the same manoeuvre that had worked for him in the previous laps, but Wurz defended his position wisely and remained in first place.

However, Wurz ran off the track with two wheels on the exit of the final turn, losing a bit of speed. This gave Kutskov the opportunity to overtake Wurz on the outside of turn one. After that, he maintained the lead until the end of the race.

Wurz followed him to finish second, with Mikeš in third, scoring his second podium finish of the weekend. Karhan finished fourth, and Ciconte took fifth after a nice battle with Berreby, Michalina Sabaj, and Simon Schranz, who unfortunately retired in the closing stages of the race. Marek Mičík finished eighth, Kornelia Olkucka ninth, and František Němec tenth.
