Joanne Ciconte from Australia Joins the F4 CEZ Field in Brno

Young Joanne Ciconte will be driving the second car for the AS Motorsport team in Brno, making her debut in the F4 CEZ Championship. The team will enter the race weekend with two cars, with Ciconte joining regular season driver Michalina Sabaj as her teammate, giving the Slovenian team a strong line-up featuring two young female drivers.

The 15-year-old Australian F4 driver, Joanne Ciconte, is quickly making her mark in the world of motorsport. After years in karting, she is now of age to compete in F4. She was recently recognised as a finalist in the 2023 Ferrari Driver Academy’s Girls on Track competition held at Fiorano, Italy.

Joanne Ciconte has also joined the Pro Racing Motorsport management roster. This programme helps to guide the career progression of young drivers in all aspects, with one of the founding members being ex-Formula 1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella.

Ciconte has a strong passion for motorsport, with her ultimate goal being to compete in the F1 Academy and make history as Australia’s first female F1 driver. Ciconte has already competed in F4 Australia earlier this year, and the F4 CEZ will be her next step on a track she is yet to experience.
