Jenzer Motorsport team to field five cars at Balaton Park

The highly professional Swiss team, Jenzer Motorsport, will bring five Formula 4 cars to the Hungaroring, fielding the most open-wheelers in the opening round of the F4 CEZ championship at Balaton Park.

Jenzer Motorsport has a tradition spanning over 30 years and competes besides F4 series also in the Formula 3 championship. With a constant search and cooperation with talented drivers, team owner Andreas Jenzer has an extensive background in junior series. This commitment to developing young talent is why Jenzer’s team is continually on the lookout for young drivers who are eager to advance their careers.

The blue and black team is preparing five single-seaters for Balaton Park. Last year’s F4 CEZ champion, Ethan Ischer, is returning to the track where he clinched the title in October 2023. Shimo Shang, who debuted at Balaton Park last year, is back and Max Karhan, who participated in the last three races of 2023 for Jenzer Motorsport, is also returning for a full season with the team.

New faces will also appear on the team. Andrija Kostic began his motorsport journey in 2022 at the age of 12 with karting and is now making the transition to Formula 4 cars. Last, but not least, is Oscar Wurz. If the surname sounds familiar, you are correct. Oscar is the son of Alexander Wurz, a former F1 driver and two-time 24h Le Mans winner. Alexander Wurz has three sons—Felix, Charlie, and Oscar—all of whom are racers.

Additionally, at the second round of the F4 CEZ at the Red Bull Ring, we will see other new drivers joining the team, including Swiss driver Enea Frey and Slovakian Matus Ryba.
