All the FIA champions for the 2023 season were honored at a ceremony in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. Ethan Ischer, the winner of F4 CEZ, was among the rewarded champions.
The event was hosted by FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem with the support of official partners Rolex, Hankook Tire & Technology and Brembo.
„We celebrated our champions, including established names, multiple title winners, and emerging stars of the future from across the spectrum of our competitions,“ said FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem.
The highlight of the evening was Max Verstappen receiving the FIA Formula One World Championship for Drivers trophy for the third time in his career. Many other world champions were also rewarded for their successful seasons, including Ethan Ischer from Jenzer Motorsport, who won the title and eight races.
„It was my first FIA gala event, and it was very interesting and exciting. I was really looking forward to it! It’s a big event with the best drivers in the world, so it was truly an extraordinary evening for me! Seeing the best drivers was an incredible moment, something superb that I hope to experience again at the highest level,“ commented Ethan Ischer on his experience in the city of the Grand Prix Azerbaijan.
This memorable night undoubtedly serves as motivation for Ischer to come back next year. He enjoyed the evening and had a conversation with other drivers, including Oscar Piastri from McLaren F1. Now Ischer is focused on another season, which is still under discussion.
