Swiss driver Ethan Ischer from Jenzer Motorsport was absolutely dominant in the F4 CEZ championship at Autodrom Most. After winning two races, he collected his third trophy on Sunday afternoon.
The track was completely dry after the rain earlier in the day, and Ethan Ischer and Reno Francot were waiting for the red light to go off from first row. Ischer defended his position from Francot, who lost his place to his teammate Mathias Bjerre Jakobsen.
Miroslav Mikeš showed great pace and attacked Francot in the second lap. However, he braked too late in the first turn and came under pressure from Michael Sauter. The Swiss driver eventually passed Mikeš and settled for fourth place, followed by Mikeš, Oliver Michl, Jan Rieger, and Max Karhan. When Michl entered the pits, Rieger and Karhan moved up one place.
Ischer shot into the lead and created a comfortable gap, counting down the laps until the finish. The interesting fight was for second place, as Jakobsen defended his position from Francot. The key moment came on the 12th lap when Jakobsen went a little wide on the exit of the last turn, allowing Francot to pass him for second.
Michael Sauter crossed the finish line in fourth, Miroslav Mikeš in fifth, Jan Rieger in sixth, and Max Karhan finished his first-ever single-seater weekend in seventh. Eighth place went to Oliver Michl.
