The highly successful opening race at Autodrom Most saw Ethan Ischer claim victory from pole position, with his teammates Reno Francot and Mathias Bjerre Jakobsen completing the podium.
However, things didn’t look good for Ischer and Jenzer Motorsport right after the start. Michael Sauter from the Sauter Engineering team took the lead from second on the grid. Eventually, Sauter received a 10-second penalty for a jump start, eliminating his chances of winning.
Ischer stayed right behind Sauter, and although he didn’t have to make an attack, he managed to take the lead in the second half of the race, with his teammate Reno Francot following suit.
Sauter crossed the finish line in third place, just ahead of Miroslav Mikeš from SAPE Motorsport, who showed great improvement at Most. Unfortunately, Mikeš also received a 10-second penalty, resulting in them dropping to fourth and fifth places, respectively. Mathias Bjerre Jakobsen was promoted to third place, completing the Jenzer Motorsport’s 1-2-3 finish.
Hungarian driver Oliver Michl from the Gender Racing team finished in sixth place. Single-seater driver Jan Rieger secured seventh position in his debut start in F4 CEZ for JMT Racing. Right behind him was Max Karhan, a kart driver from Jenzer Motorsport, who made his first-ever start in a single-seater race.
